We need to sign players before we sell. Our squad is already thin.
If we don’t sign at least a player in every position we could struggle in the league next season. I hope I’m wrong!

I'm only worried in the sense that we do this regularly. We have a good season every 5 years or so, get our hopes up, then fall apart again

Every year I get fed up and perplexed about how late we do our business.
I’m always worried about next season when we have who we have in charge.
Having said that - tournaments always seem to slow down the transfer window so hopefully next week will be the beginning of the madness.

I’m fairly certain that we’ll cope without Anderson, Yarmolenko and Reid to be honest. Our recruitment has been brilliant lately. Just chill out and see what happens. It’s July 6th!

Thing is it is better to get rid of your shit first so you then have a lot better idea of what is needed and what the budget is, so as long as we do that at least something is happening.
Squad is back training and the Euro's ends on Sunday, so hopefully next week we start to hear of more concrete links, bids, etc.

agreed, Manners - there's about 300k a week / 15 million a year there of people not playing. Can't be a bad thing. Although I'm not sure we'll get any takers for Yarmo given the ridiculous contract he's on, unless we agree to pay some of his wages for the remaining year. Wouldn't be the worst having him for this season to play in the Europa.

No.....not sure why anyone would be at this point......signings will come........id only be worried if its week before deadline and no signings have been made
and why would be worried about yarmo and anderson leaving thats about 250k a week saved

This must be the record for one of these pre-season 'panic' threads. A pre-season ball hasn't been kicked yet and the players have just returned to training this week!
How about waiting to see who we sign first and how we look in pre-season before wetting your knickers, son.

I’m not worried as such, but I know that if we have a bad start it’ll be the “stop wetting your knickers” crowd who will be the first to start moaning.
I wouldn’t be that surprised if we had a disappointing second season. We’ve had it with a lot of mangers that have a first good season. Roeder, Pardew (in the Premier League), Zola, Bilic, Manny. Moyes had it at Everton.
Could go either way, really.

thursday to sunday to thursday is where we get found out- we can barely put a squad out to fulfill our 38 league games plus two cup games a year
so, yes, of course Im worried- its west ham!

I’m sure Moyes has got it under control. If all the players in the OP leave, that will be a lot of wages off the payroll… I’m sure we will add better.
